In 1974, we established Mantracourt with a clear mission: pioneering microelectronics in industrial measurement. For over four decades, based in Southwest England, we’ve achieved this goal. Today, we’re still committed to delivering top-notch technology to OEM sensor manufacturers across over 30 countries.
A vital part of the Mantracourt success story is our constant investment in manufacturing. Our in-house equipment includes the cutting-edge automated Surface Mount production line – based around Yamaha iPulse M10 and M20 – which consistently delivers both impeccable quality and swift adaptability for our customers. Furthermore, our Automatic Optical Inspection machine ensures every board we create has been correctly soldered and all parts are accurately placed. Our Automatic Testing Equipment gives piece of mind to our customers, its rigorous processes ensure every product we produce is of the highest possible quality. We are justifiably proud of our ISO9001:2008 certification and that the products we manufacture are ATEX approved and RoHS compliant. We believe in-house manufacturing has been vital to our sustained and continuing success.
Our team of design and development engineers is, understandably, the envy of the sector. This group of highly-skilled experts design both hardware and software for our client’s, often diverse, needs. Examples of our software capabilities include designing Toolkits, drivers (DLL’s) and bespoke s/w solutions. Web based data delivery (loT), X-Y axis Load Pin measurements, ATEX, Labview and Embedded C are just some of the additional areas of expertise Mantracourt offers. Our hardware designers have vast experience in communications such as Modbus, ASCII and CANOpen among others. Wireless technologies, 2.4GHz based on 802:15.4 Protocols and Bluetooth are other specialities. Our clients know that, in our design and development team, they are dealing with the leading minds in the field.

Managing Director
As Managing Director (CEO), Robert is responsible for the operation of all aspects of the business and is working to ensure Mantracourt continues to develop upon the success of the last 50 years, while maintaining its core values. His background is in the construction industry, principally in tunnelling and civil engineering with other areas of experience including automation, process control, chemical dosing, communications and water treatment.
Sales & Marketing Manager
Matthew joined the team in 2022 and heads up the Sales & Marketing Team. He is responsible for the devlopment of strategy and optimising marketing opportunities. Matthew is focused on building the business utilising his passion for high quality manufacturing to help Mantracourt reach its operational goals.
Engineering Manager
James has a Communication Engineering background with over 20 years of Engineering experience. Specialising in low level and embedded software, James looks after the firmware for a range of Mantracourt products.
In his spare time James can often be found Kayaking on local waters.
Production Manager
Alistair oversees all aspects of our in-house manufacturing facility, making sure your orders are built to specification and are dispatched on schedule. Alistair ensures the smooth purchasing and sourcing of reliable, quality materials from our trusted suppliers.
Finance Manager
Louise is responsible for the company’s financial accounting and reporting. She has extensive experience in Manufacturing Accounting and Product Costing within the chemical industry.
In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and swimming at her local beaches.
Product Manager
Tom drives the development of Mantracourt’s products and software. Liaising with our engineering, sales, and marketing teams he leads cross-functional initiatives, ensuring customer feedback, innovation and sustainability to manage every phase of development, from product planning, through launch and beyond.
Office Manager
Kimberly manages customers’ orders from receipt to dispatch from our manufacturing facilities. With a strong background in customer service, Kimberly is on hand to assist with any sales related queries. An avid football and rugby fan, Kimberly is well versed to running the bars at the Exeter Chiefs for rugby home games and is always planning the details of her next holiday to an exotic destination.
Senior Marketing Executive
Emma brings a wealth of experience within the media industry, having previously worked for advertising agencies. Emma manages our day to day marketing communications and social media. Outside of work Emma enjoys good food and the great outdoors.
Engineering Consultant
With over 40 years engineering experience at Mantracourt, Brett brings a wealth of expertise and industry knowledge to our team. With a strong focus on electronics manufacturing and a passion for cutting-edge technology, Brett plays a vital role in optimizing our products and driving innovation in specialist custom products.
Engineering Consultant
Matt has extensive experience in developing PC software and embedded code for our instrumentation and is our Software Engineering Consultant. Together with the engineering team, Matt brings innovative solutions to our product range.
Assistant Production Manager
Tracey is responsible for Mantracourt’s standard manufactured products and co-ordinates a skilled team to ensure quality and repeatability.
Assistant Accountant
Hannah has recently completed her AAT qualification and is responsible for all aspects of general accounting including payments to suppliers. In her spare time she enjoys playing the piano, gardening and family walks around Devon and Cornwall countryside and coast.
Senior Sales Executive
With a strong background in specialised engineering sales and qualifications in Mechanical Engineering Steve is on hand for all aspects of sales and support. He started his career working hands-on for a semiconductor manufacturer, supervising the production of a specialist product line. He moved into technical sales & procurement within the marine/yachting industry where he worked for 10 years before joining the Mantracourt team. Steve is an avid Exeter Chiefs rugby supporter and can be seen perfecting his Olympic lifting at his local gym!
Senior Technical Sales Executive
Rebecca joined Mantracourt in 2013 and has worked within our Sales Team ever since. Bringing a wealth of experience about our products, Rebecca is on hand to assist with just about any question you have about our product line. With a strong background in sales and customer service, Rebecca previously worked at aerospace and automotive OEM’s. Outside of work she enjoys travelling, amateur photography and experimental cooking on the BBQ.
Broadweigh Product Specialist
Elliot joined Mantracourt in 2019 and specialises within the Broadweigh sector of the business, which focusses on load monitoring for live events. Elliot has over 15 years of entertainment experience, including a degree in Live Sound. Coupled with a decade of mechanical and sound engineering, Elliot is a perfect liaison for Broadweigh. Working and performing at iconic events and festivals, he has hands-on experience of large scale set ups, giving him invaluable insight into the industry. When he’s not in the office or working at festivals, he can be found on the golf course!
Senior Software Engineer
Mike has over 20 years of experience in developing PC software and an extensive background in PCB manufacturing and electronics.
In his spare time Mike’s passions are Amateur Radio (also known as ham radio), the history of the II World War, and he also enjoys travelling.
Production Engineer
Alex comes from a motorsport engineering background. He is responsible for maintaining our production equipment and assisting the production and development teams where possible. He is also responsible for all Mantracourt and BroadWeigh returns that are sent back for repair.
Outside of work he has a passion for motorsport and is a part time race mechanic. He also enjoys metal work fabrication and is a keen photographer.
Sales & Marketing Administrator
As a key member of the sales and marketing team, Bonita supports the smooth running of day-to-day operations — from managing customer enquiries and processing orders to coordinating marketing campaigns and events. With a strong eye for detail and a passion for organisation, Bonita ensures that communication between departments, partners, and customers runs seamlessly. They play an essential role in maintaining brand consistency across materials and supporting the wider team in delivering excellent service and impactful marketing activity.
Firmware Engineer
Joining our Engineering team in 2022 Fidele contributes to the development and implementation of Mantracourt’s firmware, hardware and corresponding technical documentation. With a real enthusiasm for learning, Fiedel enjoys the daily challenges and rewards of engineering.
Junior Engineer
Assists the engineering team with devlopement,design and testing of new and existing products.With a strong background in PCB testing Chris maintains and creates ATE scripts and further support across teams and customers.
