This installation note explains the correct fitting of the ferrite ring supplied with the LR1 relay wiring to help meet specified EMC fast transient requirements. It shows how the ferrite ring should be installed, including the correct cable routing and positioning, with two turns of the wiring passed through the ring approximately 12 cm from the LR1 end of the cable. It also notes that when LR1 is used with LCA20, a ferrite ring is not required.
