Description

The T24-AO1 is a wireless receiver designed for desktop use, converting data from a single T24 transmitter module into a standard analogue signal. It is the ideal solution for integrating wireless measurements into bench testing, R&D setups, and desktop control systems.

The analogue output can be configured to one of the pre-calibrated voltage and current ranges, including 0–10 V, ±10 V, 0–5 V, ±5 V, 0–20 mA, and 4–20 mA. All current outputs can operate in either sink or source mode, ensuring compatibility with a wide variety of systems.

Housed in an IP50-rated desktop enclosure, the T24-AO1 supports fast data conversion with update rates of up to 2000 transmissions per second. The device is configured and scaled using the free T24 Toolkit software, which communicates wirelessly via a T24 base station. LED indicators provide clear visual feedback on radio link status, remote sensor condition, and battery life.

Operating on the licence-free 2.4 GHz DSSS frequency band, the T24-AO1 provides interference-resistant communication with a line-of-sight range of up to 100 metres (328 feet). For applications requiring extended range or harsh environmental protection, the T24-AO1i industrial version offers up to 800 metres (2,600 feet) with IP67-rated housing.

FAQ

Q What Outputs are available?
A The T24 AO1 (Analogue output) provides 0-10, +/- 10v, 0-5V, +/- 5V 0-20mA 4-20mA source and sink outputs.
Q How many inputs can a T24-AO1 output?
A Just one. Although the AO1 has multiple outputs, only one transmitter module can provide data to it.
Q How does an input equate to the output?
A Using the T24-TK (toolkit software) with the T24 Analogue Output you can declare the upper and lower limits of an output for a given input.
Q What is the difference between the T24-AO1 and T24-AO1i?
A The T24 Analogue Output modules are identical in functionality apart from the T24-AO1i is an IP67 enclosed version where the T24-AO1 is designed for desktop applications rather than industrial and is rated at IP50.
