Description
The DTEMP is a compact digital temperature sensor designed for direct connection to Mantracourt’s DCell and DSC signal conditioners. Supplied as a small double-sided PCB with an 8-pin SOIC IC, it mounts directly to the load cell body via a 2 mm fixing hole to ensure excellent thermal contact between the sensor and the strain gauges.
With two solder pads for simple wiring, the DTEMP provides accurate temperature feedback to enable advanced temperature compensation during calibration. For best performance, a shielded twisted pair cable (up to 10 m) is recommended, with the shield bonded to the load cell body or SH connection on DSC modules.
This module is essential where stable and reliable strain gauge measurement is required across changing temperature environments.
