Description
The T24-TCA is a compact OEM wireless transmitter designed for direct connection to K-type thermocouples. As part of the Mantracourt T24 modular telemetry range, it enables high-accuracy, real-time temperature monitoring across a broad range of applications, including industrial process control, construction, R&D, and predictive maintenance.
The module provides a single K-type thermocouple input with a wide input range of -200 °C to +1300 °C (-328 °F to +2372 °F), making it suitable for both ambient and extreme high-temperature environments. It is optimised for fast response and precise readings, supporting both dynamic and static temperature measurement tasks.
Wireless data transmission is achieved via the licence-free 2.4 GHz DSSS frequency band. The integral antenna version supports a line-of-sight range of up to 500 metres (1640 feet), while models fitted with an external antenna socket can achieve up to 800 metres (2,600 feet) with a suitable external antenna. The module is compatible with all T24 receivers, including handheld displays, base stations, analogue and relay outputs, and cloud-based platforms such as SensorSpace.
Designed for ultra-low power consumption, the T24-TCA supports transmission rates ranging from approximately 1 transmission every 60 seconds to 200 transmissions per second. This allows for extended battery life in remote monitoring applications. The device can be placed into low-power sleep mode and reactivated wirelessly by other T24 devices, reducing maintenance requirements and supporting long-term deployments.
Wireless calibration, configuration, and diagnostics are carried out using the free T24 Toolkit software, with all calibration data stored within the module for reliable field operation. Offered as a bare OEM board or within optional IP-rated enclosures, the T24-TCA offers flexibility for embedded use and custom system integration.
