Description
The T24-LT1 is a versatile wireless OEM telemetry module designed for integration into running line tensiometer systems. When paired with appropriate mechanical hardware, it enables the real-time acquisition of cable tension, payout, and speed — critical parameters for dynamic load monitoring in industries such as marine, offshore, and rigging.
Developed on the proven foundation of the T24-SA strain acquisition module, the T24-LT1 provides high-accuracy load pin measurement and can be calibrated and scaled directly into engineering units such as kilograms or kilonewtons. This version requires integration with a suitable external antenna, which provides enhanced wireless range and signal integrity, particularly in challenging or obstructed environments.
The T24-LT1 was originally designed to work alongside the T24-HLT handheld display, providing a portable solution for viewing tension, payout, and line speed. While the T24-HLT remains available, it has been superseded by the T24-HK-S, a next-generation handheld display offering improved configurability, enhanced visualisation, and greater system flexibility. For all new installations, the T24-HK-S is recommended as the preferred display option.
Operating on the licence-free 2.4 GHz DSSS frequency band, the T24-LT1 offers reliable, interference-resistant wireless communication and is fully compatible with the complete T24 ecosystem, including base stations, analogue outputs, relay modules, and logging interfaces. Configuration, scaling, and calibration are performed wirelessly using the free T24 Toolkit software.
