Description
The T24-SET-A is a complete wireless wind speed monitoring solution, combining the T24-WSS wireless wind speed transmitter with an in-cab display. Designed for the lifting and handling industry, this system provides accurate, real-time wind speed information with a robust and easy-to-install setup.
The wireless wind speed transmitter features a high-quality 3-cup rotor and delivers a measurement range of 5 to 125 mph, with output units available in m/s or mph. It continuously monitors average wind speed and transmits data over a class-leading wireless range of up to 800 m (2,600 ft). The T24-WSS operates in a low-power mode that ensures exceptional battery life exceeding 12 months, while still providing permanent data updates to the in-cab display. Supplied pre-calibrated, configured, and paired, it is designed for quick installation with a rugged IP67-rated enclosure and pivot mount for moving booms.
The in-cab display provides a rolling average wind speed reading and includes a configurable alarm function with an in-built buzzer and relay output for controlling external equipment. A backlight display ensures clear visibility in low light conditions, and the unit is powered from an 8–36 Vdc external supply. For larger setups, a four-digit LED display is also available to view data from the system.
The T24-SET-A is Radio Equipment Directive (RED) approved and can be further configured using the optional T24 Toolkit software. Free visualisation software is also available for extended data analysis and monitoring.
